Caitlin is an Auckland based photographer who specialises in maternity, newborn and family shoots. Her photography is stunning but I was especially drawn to the colour grading, for me it holds a balance of warm and cool, nostalgia and modern, that I feel perfectly pairs with her subject matter. I picked repetitive tones from her images, of warm neutrals and Autumnals, offset with cool greens, to work harmoniously alongside the photography.
When it came to her logo Caitlin preferred an all-uppercase approach applied to her name. With the strength and power this brings to the table, I wanted to ensure that there was some softness as well, which is achieved in the unexpected curves, that are also a nod to the femininity of her maternity work.
